We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Content Creator. You will have a strong background in content editing and a passion for storytelling through video. In this role, you will be responsible for creating dynamic, original, engaging content that resonates with audiences. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the studio team on other editing requirements as needed.
You will be excited about helping to drive Play’s success and thrive when faced with new challenges, constantly striving to produce outstanding work. You must have a very strong work ethic, possess outstanding multi-tasking skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced and demanding creative environment.
Primary Job Duties:
Developing, creating and producing content in an editing environment.
Secondary Job Duties:
Driving our film offering forward: event and activation coverage, BTS, social films.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in video editing and content creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software, plus some knowledge of other Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- After Effects is an advantage.
- A competent self shooter with the ability to film high-quality content: experience using DSLR cameras, smartphones, sound, lighting equipment, etc.
- Inspired by social: good knowledge of all key platforms.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Able to develop and own ideas.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A showreel showcasing your previous work in content creation and video editing.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and edit high-quality video content for a range of clients, ensuring that output is on brand and meets objectives.
- Self-shoot content as and when required. This could be anything from an activation, event, shoot BTS, talking heads through to a product demo for social.
- Utilize storytelling techniques to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire our audience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and content creation.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts for content.
