As a Consulting Director, Business Transformation, here’s what you can expect:
Indicative Responsibilities:
- Leads multiple, large scale project engagements and client relationships
- Applies the right methodologies with an agile mindset, taking ownership of client deliverables and timelines
- Leadership in strategic new business pitches and initiatives
- Works with other Ogilvy Businesses to identify, scope and deliver engagements that ‘bring more of Ogilvy to the table’
- Manages client relationships and projects strategically, commercially, and operationally
- Defines the appropriate strategic frameworks for solution development
- Suggests new information sources and techniques to junior members of the team
- Guides, reviews, and adjusts the tone of presentations and client communications in accordance with a deep understanding and knowledge of the client
- Reframes strategic problems to lead clients to better outcomes
- Conducts key stakeholder interviews, skillfully moderates workshops and client meetings
- Suggests new business opportunities
- Keeps abreast of innovations in your area(s) of expertise, actively contributing to the knowledge base
- Acting as a role model; you are regularly sought out after for views by peers and the wider team
- Contributing to a positive, diverse working environment that fosters high-quality output and coaching others on the value of collaborative working
Skills and Attributes:
- At least 6 years of strategy consulting experience with a leading firm, with a Business Transformation focus
- A developed specialism in Business Transformation, particularly in Marketing Transformation, Change Management, Employee Experience or Organisation Design
- Challenging conventional views and presenting ideas persuasively to gain buy-in
- Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and observation
- Able to translate strategy and strategic thinking into executable solutions
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ogilvy Consulting has adopted a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of three days in the Sea Containers House offices per week for full-time employees. Travel is sometimes expected as part of any engagement, though less time is spent on client premises than at traditional consulting firms.
