Job Description:
Triple West Medical have been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the West Midlands to help recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist for a substantive or fixed term contract.
The Trust is an acute general hospital serving the local population with over 500 beds and has recently been redeveloped. They have a friendly and progressive team of gastroenterologists and will be encouraged to develop a sub-speciality interest to complement the existing team and to support further development of the service.
The endoscopy unit is newly equipped with Olympus Evis X1 systems in each of the endoscopy rooms. As well as OGDs, lower GI endoscopies and ERCP then EUS, spyglass, capsule endoscopies and high resolution oesophageal pH and manometry studies are undertaken.
They are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Gastroenterologist as part of departmental expansion and continued development of specialised services.
