Job Description:
We are working with a market renowned underwriting manager who is looking to add an additional headcount to his International Construction and Engineering underwriting division.
The role has been created due to the increased submission flow (the book has doubled in size in the last two years) and will suit an experienced EAR and CAR specialist from underwriting or broking background. The hiring manager has a strong reputation for training and developing underwriters from a technical standpoint which is why they are often influencing the placement and are seen as leaders within their markets. This is a global Fac portfolio (ex US) requiring you to underwrite new and renewal risks, with the potential to travel. In addition, the company is structured in a way that frees underwriters up to focus on underwriting tasks and not to get distracted by overbearing administration.
