Summary

Compliance Business Partner

Location: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Work closely in partnership with business functions to identify and mitigate regulatory and conduct risk, escalating issues as appropriate.
  2. Collate relevant information for timely and accurate submissions to the regulator, highlighting any anomalies with relevant key stakeholders while ensuring approval and record-keeping requirements.
  3. Conduct horizon scanning to keep the business fully briefed on developments associated with regulatory, industry, and consumer changes.
  4. Perform summary and in-depth gap analysis to identify gaps and work with key stakeholders to implement solutions in a timely manner, providing reporting as necessary.
  5. Act as SME on all regulatory/industry changes and serve as the contact point for the business and team.
  6. Collaborate across all three lines of defence.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Compliance advisory experience.
  2. Significant knowledge of FCA-related rules and obligations and ability to demonstrate application.
  3. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
