Job Description:

Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking an experienced Compensation Analyst to join our International People & Organisation team. This is a newly created role reporting to the Executive Director, Compensation & Benefits, International.

Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation: Assist in daily compensation activities such as role pay assessments, market benchmarking, salary recommendations, and pay equity assessments for EMEA and LATAM.
  2. Participate in compensation surveys (e.g., Willis Towers Watson, Croner, Radford) to analyze market position.
  3. Assist with the annual merit review process, including job evaluations and data analytics.
  4. Manage compensation data entry in HR systems, including job mapping and pay grades.
  5. Review and develop job descriptions and support Talent Acquisition with compensation offers.
  6. Support benchmarking activities for production roles and during joint ventures.
  7. Provide quarterly benchmarking support for LATAM countries with hyperinflation, such as Argentina, and review salary structures in Colombia and Brazil.

Additional Tasks:

  • Provide data analysis support to the Compensation & Benefits team.
  • Participate in special projects like executive compensation analysis, survey vendor selection, and platform updates.
  • Support Benefits Analysts and employee recognition platforms.
  • Maintain knowledge of legislation affecting compensation in EMEA and LATAM.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years\’ experience in benchmarking, job analysis, and market pricing, preferably in the media sector across EMEA.
  • Deep understanding of salary surveys, compensation theory, and practice; experience with WTW, Croner, Radford preferred.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with HRIS systems like Workday.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
