Job Description:

Based in Loughborough, but covering a UK-based patch.

Salary – Up to £55k basic

Monday – Friday

You will be joining a national leader in the energy management solutions industry. You will be part of the electrical commissioning team with a focus on carrying out repairs, installation, maintenance, and more, both on-site in the Loughborough-based factory as well as on customer sites.

Essential duties and responsibilities of the commissioning Service Engineer include:

1. Commissioning, repair, and maintenance of the company’s full range of electrical products.
2. Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
3. Fault diagnosis of switchgear and related equipment.
4. Preparing method statements and technical requirements.
5. Filing job documents and reports as required.

Skills and Experience required:

1. Relevant experience in a commissioning-based role for electrical products.
2. Minimum HNC in a relevant Electrical Engineering discipline.
3. Open to traveling UK-wide to customer sites, being open to overnight stays.
4. Experience in preparing method statements and technical requirements.
5. Experience in electrical fault-finding.
6. Experience representing a company on-site and off-site.
