We are looking for two Commissioning Engineers who have a solid clean water background with a main contractor. The project is valued at £150 million, is in its infancy, and offers a long-term opportunity.

Key tasks and responsibilities of a commissioning engineer include:

  • Planning and Preparation: Developing detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and test procedures.
  • Testing and Verification: Executing test procedures, analyzing results, and verifying that systems and equipment are functioning correctly.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test reports, procedures, and as-built records.
  • On-site Coordination: Supervising and coordinating on-site activities, ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Problem Solving: Investigating and diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions to ensure systems operate as intended.
  • Communication: Communicating with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Training: Providing training to client personnel on the operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.
  • Safety: Ensuring that all commissioning activities are carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
