Job Description:
Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Design Engineer required to design sensor casings, enclosures and peripherals with electronic contents using FEA Analysis, CFD Simulation and 3D Modelling. This is a hands-on mechanical design role working on concept to production of electronic housing and potting boxes from metal. Key skills:
- 3D mechanical CAD design experience including the preparation of tolerance engineering drawings.
- Ideally with Autodesk Fusion and FEA for vibration analysis.
- Good degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience working on road vehicles professionally or as a hobby.
- Machine shop tools e.g. lathe, mill exposure.
