Our client is a specialist fit out and refurbishment sub-contractor operating primarily in London and around the M25. Our mission is to deliver high-quality projects for our clients, on time, within budget, and snag-free. They are seeking a Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor to oversee multiple fit out projects valued between £100k and over £1 million.
Key duties include:
- Reconciling cost/value reports and profit forecasts.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager on pre-start planning and programming.
- Managing subcontractor and client commercial activities.
- Handling daily cost control, monitoring, and reporting.
- Measuring progress, submitting valuations, final accounts, and managing retention releases, ensuring timely receipt of payments in accordance with contracts.
- Processing subcontractor payment requests.
Previous experience with interior fit out subcontractors is preferred. The position offers a salary of £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience.
