Salt is recruiting for a client within central government that requires a SC Cleared Commercial Lead for a 1-year contract Inside IR35 with rate negotiable DOE.

Skills (including specialist skills) and/or knowledge required:

  • Lead on and deliver key procurement activities and provide commercial leadership for complex and strategic procurements.
  • Produce and deliver Contract Management Plans and procurement plans for goods and services to support the delivery of Digital, Data and Technology.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to develop a clear and agreed view on the needs of the business and target outcomes.
  • Deliver more complex procurements through activities such as:
  • Production of financial analyses and projections.
  • Production of the Commercial Business Case and contribution to the development of wider business case content, defining the commercial strategy, procurement options, risks, and mitigations.
