Our client, a global-leading firm, is looking to hire a Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE, to join the IP transactional practice in London.
This part of the practice is particularly busy, and the role has arisen due to the increased volume of work as a result of the value in many key transactions of the firm’s clients (both those managed by the IP Team directly and via the Corporate practice) being driven by IP and consequently, there is a need to increase the size of the team.
The role requires a Junior Lawyer with experience of non-contentious IP transactional work, which ideally would include the IP aspects of M&A transactions and complex commercial agreements; tech transfer, assignment and licensing; IP-led collaboration agreements; and IP aspects of software or IT contracts.
The London IP transactional practice works closely within the firm’s market leading Corporate practice, with innovation, tech and brand led transactions being a key and significant area of growth. The London IP practice is currently working on several significant IP led transactions and collaborations across a variety of sectors, including tech, energy, consumer and pharma.
The suitable candidate will be England and Wales qualified, with a minimum of 1 year PQE (although Commonwealth qualified candidates will be considered) and will have a genuine interest in, and enthusiasm for, innovation, technology and branding.
