Are you looking for a Mobile Commercial Gas Position?

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading independent building services maintenance providers in London and the South East.

My client is a family-owned M&E Subcontractor with a £60M+ annual turnover. The Company has been trading for 60 years, working in London and the Southeast with a head office based in East Kent. We are currently looking to recruit a commercial gas maintenance service engineer to join our expanding Maintenance Department, working on district heating networks and energy centres across London and the Southeast.

The package on offer is up to £57,000, which comes with a Company Van, Fuel card, and bundles of overtime available.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will be tasked with planned service and maintenance visits as well as reactive breakdowns, including:

• Delivering services, repairs, and maintenance throughout commercial properties
• Reactive maintenance throughout the client’s portfolio of properties
• Self-delivery of smaller installations
• Covering a portfolio of contracted buildings, repairing and maintaining various systems
• Diagnosing and identifying faults and failures within the equipment
• Ordering and fitting parts or components to the equipment when required
• Providing reactive and planned commercial maintenance
• Delivering a high level of customer service and building strong relationships

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (including recognized apprenticeship) with a commercial gas/heating bias
• Gas Safe registered for commercial gas installations
• Hold the following: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1/1A, CPA1, CCCN1, COMCAT1
• Maintenance and setup of gas-fired burners and radiant tube heaters
• Maintenance of gas pressure regulator installations (PRIs)
• Gas Safe registered for catering and domestic installations
• Overtime available & on-call duty rotation
• Smartphone & Uniform/PPE
• Training in all technologies/systems installed
