Faststream have partnered with one of the largest LNG players in the market. Our client has a presence in nearly every core shipping country in the world and with their international presence, they are considered a highly sought-after business to work for. Due to recent expansion, they are on the lookout for a Commercial Associate (Ship Operator) to join their experienced commercial LNG department. This is a very good opportunity for candidates who are looking for a move into LNG but do not have that experience.

You will be responsible for the asset management of your assigned LNG carriers and ensure effective communication and coordination with Charter Parties, Shareholders, Technical Manager, and internal support teams. Furthermore, you will be expected to assist with claim handling and dispute resolution while providing monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports. In addition to this, you will act as an Owners Representative for the fleet of LNG Carriers on long-term charter.

Requirements

  • Have a degree in maritime operations/business/law/finance.
  • Have knowledge and experience in commercial shipping operations.
  • Have good cultural awareness with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Be fluent in English – both written and verbal.
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
