Job Description:

La Fosse is currently partnered with a client who is looking to recruit a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer into their team, on an initial 6-month contract, with a view to extend to 12 months.

This role is outside IR35, paying £500 per day, with a 50/50 split between office and home working. The office location is Central London.

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and manage our cloud estate. You will work alongside developers, data engineers, and third-party vendors to design and build internally developed workloads and off-the-shelf solutions in a resilient and reliable manner. Additionally, you will provide reactive and proactive operational support for the environment.

Key experience needed:

• Extensive hands-on cloud infrastructure management, including backups and disaster recovery, specifically in Azure for both IaaS and PaaS services.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) in an enterprise environment and working within a GitOps model using CI/CD tools. Azure DevOps is preferred, but other tools are acceptable.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as PowerShell, and experience interacting with REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with technical stakeholders.
• A self-starting, self-learning mindset, with the ability to work independently.
• Experience working with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Intune, and SharePoint Online.
