Job Description:

The Role:

The Investment Reporting Services (IRS) Function is responsible for collating and distributing investment data to our internal teams, Clients and Regulators. This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of an established Client Reporting Delivery team which sits in IRS, who are responsible for building and delivering high quality reporting to M&G’s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out operational processes for periodic reporting to clients.
  2. Execute data checks and analysis on large data sets, to assure quality and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  3. Manage change implementation including plans of timeline and cost for delivery.
  4. Focus on managing early capture of reporting requirements and provide full impact analysis.
  5. Provide focused ownership and knowledge for the full content and delivery of Client Reporting including SFDR annexes and PAI statements.
  6. Proactively engage with key stakeholders, including Product Development, Compliance and Distribution.
  7. Keep up to date at all times with business and industry standards as well as regulatory requirements as they pertain to reporting documents produced by the team – sufficient knowledge of UCITs & PRIIPs is essential.
  8. Develop and use relationships with 3rd party data vendors to actively manage M&G data being represented in the market.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  1. Strong understanding of instruments across the suite of asset classes M&G invests in (fixed income, public equity, leveraged loans, private debt, private equity).
  2. Good understanding of ESG terms and SFDR reporting requirements.
  3. Experience of data management or client reporting function within the asset management industry.
  4. Ability to handle and manipulate large volumes of static and dynamic data.
  5. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong team player with the ability to work closely with colleagues.
  7. Experience working with external suppliers and data vendors.
  8. Experience of data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  9. Advanced Excel skills.
  10. Proactive self-starter, with the ability to identify problems and follow them through to resolution.
