Our client is a 4 partner Accountancy firm based in Enfield who is seeking an experienced and confident Client Accountant to take control of the day-to-day client portfolio work.
The successful Senior Accountant will be responsible for a number of clients, which vary in size and complexity, carrying out statutory accounts, reviewing financial statements, and dealing with queries in a very client-facing role.
The ideal Senior Accountant will have a good deal of experience within practice, up-to-date tax knowledge, and ACCA, ACA, and QBE qualified Accountants will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with a portfolio of clients in a very hands-on role.
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Preparing management accounts.
- Preparing and submitting business and personal tax returns for a range of clients.
- Providing advice for a variety of different matters in a confident and efficient manner.
- 3+ Years’ experience working in an Accountancy Practice.
- ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE.
- Good working knowledge of cloud software.
- Experience guiding and mentoring junior members of staff.
