Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world’s largest and most complex projects.

As a Discipline Lead Engineer – Civil, you will manage discipline teams, manpower planning, work scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting, interfacing with clients, third-party consultants, other disciplines, and other execution centres.

Essential Skills:

Civil/structural engineering experience in both FEED and EPC phases of process plant design and construction. Knowledge of onshore steel structure design, concrete structure and foundation design, storage tanks, buildings, drainage, preparation of specifications, and MTOs.

Preferred Skills:

Chartered civil/structural engineer with working experience on Middle Eastern oil refinery or petrochemical plant design. Use of E3D and STAAD.Pro. Familiarity with multicentre working, particularly detailed design execution centres.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering Design
2. Excellent organizational, technical, writing, communication, and computer skills
3. 15 years of experience in onshore plant design in the oil and gas industry
4. Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
5. Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
6. Ability to work in an office-based role

Whilst the role is Leatherhead based, a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 at home is acceptable.
