Chief Marketing and Sales Officer
Location: Yorkshire
The role:
This is an exciting role as part of a growing executive team. The Chief Marketing and Sales Officer will prioritize a customer-first approach to boost customer numbers and sales. This role is responsible for the entire customer journey, ensuring a deep understanding of customers and markets across leisure brands. The focus will be on attracting the right audience through targeted marketing efforts, increasing footfall, market share, customer loyalty, revenue, customer NPS, and optimizing advertising spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a customer segmentation strategy
- Manage the entire customer journey, from brand awareness to repeat customers, enhancing touchpoints like the website and customer service center.
- Build and maintain strong company brands and customer loyalty to support future revenue growth.
- Develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy aimed at increasing market share, customer numbers, and revenue.
- Manage the marketing budget to drive growth while keeping costs low.
- Define a reporting structure to continuously measure the ROI of marketing activities and other key performance indicators.
- Lead the creation and execution of the business sales and marketing strategy across all brands.
- Create a marketing roadmap that focuses on ROI and places customers at the heart of decision-making.
- Lead a team of marketing, sales, and customer service professionals to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- Experience in Leisure, Entertainment, Hospitality, F&B, or Retail is preferred.
- A strategic and commercially minded senior leader with strong data analysis skills.
