Job Description:

The University of Cambridge, renowned for academic excellence and innovation, is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of the University Information Services (UIS). The CIO will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, overseeing digital, technical, and information services across the university.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading technology and transformation initiatives with diplomacy and soft skills.
• Addressing cybersecurity threats with clear institutional accountability.
• Fostering a client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Driving change towards a \’one-IT\’ model with multidisciplinary teams, aligning digital services with university needs.
• Building high-level relationships with academic, public, and private sector partners.
• Creating and communicating a compelling vision for the future of university technology.
