Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive and thoughtful modelling output to key stakeholders throughout the pricing process.
  2. Be a key point of contact for underwriters and other stakeholders regarding queries related to the pricing of accounts and portfolio roll-up.
  3. Undertake internal and external reporting activities for submissions.
  4. Assist Senior Analysts in the design and implementation of risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  5. Conduct role in accordance with the Company’s Business Ethics policy and all regulated entities as appropriate.

Experience Required:

  1. Sound financial and commercial acumen.
  2. Risk analytics modelling experience is essential, using the following: RMS RiskLink / RMS Risk Manager / AIR Touchstone / Touchstone Re.
  3. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  4. Sound knowledge of data management and structures.
  5. General coding logic and coding experience in SQL are highly desirable; skills in R and/or Python would be useful.
  6. Experience in utilizing data manipulation and visualization tools are desirable, e.g., PowerBI.
  7. Ability to design, operate, interpret, and communicate quantitative reporting.
  8. Experience in using DFA tools and underwriting administration systems are desirable.
  9. Knowledge and experience of the (re)insurance industry is desirable.
