We’re a cosy, independent café tucked inside a quiet residential estate, just a 2-minute stroll from Stonebridge Park Tube Station (Bakerloo & London Overground). We’re growing our small team with a handful of reliable, on-call café assistants who can jump in whenever extra hands are needed.
What the job looks like:
- Zero-hour contract – pick up shifts that suit your schedule; we’ll post available slots and you choose the ones you can work.
- Typical shifts: Weekdays: 2pm–8pm. Extra hours are sometimes available during school holidays and estate events.
- Taking orders, making coffees and simple food prep (toasties, pastries, salads).
- Keeping the bar and seating area clean and welcoming.
- Restocking fridges, topping up supplies and helping with deliveries.
- Chatting with regulars and making everyone feel at home – we pride ourselves on personal service!
Requirements:
- Someone confident working solo (you’ll be the only person on shift).
- Experience making coffee is a big plus.
- We also serve alcohol, so bar experience is welcome.
