We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Cardiology Technologist at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.
Work Schedule
- Days of work: Rotating, Days, Monday to Thursday, alternating with Tuesday to Thursday
- Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00

Job Responsibilities
- Perform techniques related to Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event Recorders, pacemaker monitoring, and other diagnostic cardiac equipment.
- Explain procedures to patients and answer related questions.
- Perform non-invasive examinations such as ECG, stress testing, Holter and event monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
- Monitor cardiac pacemakers, interpret test results, and notify medical staff of abnormalities.
- Scan and analyze test strips, summarize findings for interpretation, and transfer ECGs for review.
- Demonstrate testing procedures and operate related equipment.
- Assist in departmental activities, maintain equipment, and participate in quality management programs.
- Contribute to staff training and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
