In this position, you have the opportunity to play an important role in Partners Group's Capital Markets Team responsible for all debt financing-related aspects of Partners Group's Private Equity, Private Infrastructure, and Private Real Estate investments globally, across their life cycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Structure and negotiate debt financings for new buyouts/investments, add-on acquisitions and refinancings of portfolio companies/assets across Partners Group’s Private Equity and Private Infrastructure businesses.
  • Serve as an important markets and capital structure advisor to investment and management teams.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with banks, institutional investors, legal counsel, and other market participants.
  • Proactively generate value enhancing financing ideas for existing investments.
  • Structure and negotiate financing related hedging.
  • Originate investment opportunities from your network.

For this unique opportunity, we need a person who works well in a global organization and is a self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication and execution skills. Successful candidates should have the following profile:

  • 6-10 years of leveraged finance/capital markets and/or infrastructure/project finance experience at a leading financial institution or currently in a Capital Markets role at an asset manager.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt financings in lead-left capacity (underwritten and best efforts), including loans and bonds.
  • Excellent understanding of capital markets and debt products including detailed understanding of execution processes (constituents, legal and marketing documents, etc.).
  • Strong understanding and negotiating experience of loan and bond documentation.
  • Team worker with self-drive and a strong desire to contribute and make a difference.
