The opportunity

Joining our team, you will support our growth plans with strong career progression opportunities, as Capital & Debt Advisory is integral to EY’s Strategy and Transactions business. You will work with a high-performing team advising clients on various financing options, including bank debt, LBO financing, infrastructure/structured finance, asset-based lending, institutional debt markets, debt funds, and alternative lenders.

Your key responsibilities

We seek candidates for an Associate Director role to strengthen our Debt Advisory team, focusing on transaction execution and origination. Responsibilities include managing projects, acting as the main client contact, overseeing transaction teams, delivering transaction documentation, financial modeling, supporting business development, mentoring juniors, and expanding your professional network.

Skills and attributes for success

Applicants should demonstrate experience in debt advisory or related fields, stakeholder management, market knowledge, client confidence, financial acumen, modeling skills, team leadership, and time management.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A relevant finance qualification
• 5-7+ years of experience in debt advisory, banking, or related fields
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• High motivation and quick learning ability
• Strong internal relationship-building skills
