We are recruiting CABLE WINDING OPERATIVES to join our available list to receive alerts for when labour is required to cover short term shift work. You will be physically fit and able to work as a part of a team to guide and coil undersea cable into storage tanks. Working within a warehouse environment, at times the cables can be dirty and vary in size and thickness. This is not a full-time role, hence we are recruiting people who are seeking additional top-up work. When we get notified by the client, all that are on the list will be contacted to gain availability. Due to the nature of the weather and the sea, the shifts can change at short notice.
Length of shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours. Pay rates will switch at time cross overs:
- Day shifts are between 08:00 am to 20:00 pm
- Night shifts are between 20:00 pm to 08:00 am
You will have:
- A mobile phone that can receive SMS alerts
- Able to carry out manual labour tasks
- Strong communication skills as you will be working within a team
- Steel toe cap boots and not afraid to get a bit dirty
