Role Responsibility This is an exciting opportunity to join our Regional Area Adoption Team. If you would like to be part of a busy team helping to support the adoption service, then this could be the position for you. We offer an attractive package of 27 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, and the Kent Rewards Scheme. In addition, we provide opportunities for training and development. The team is currently working flexibly from home and the office. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, along with an understanding of the needs of children. You should have a good understanding of multi-agency work and be able to collaborate effectively with partner agencies. Strong IT skills are essential to collate, manage, and present data. You must be able to proactively manage your workload while responding to urgent requests and deadlines. The role also involves liaising confidently with the public, professionals, and organisations, often acting as a contact point for the service. We are looking for someone with a calm and organised approach who can contribute positively to the team\’s success. This position is considered by KCC to be customer-facing. The Council has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have sufficient command of spoken English/Welsh for effective job performance.
