The main purpose of this role is to lead a professional B2B relationship with the Large and Medium Business Units (LMBU) Partner businesses. Building and maintaining strong positive relationships, you will deliver a range of strategic, commercial and business planning advice and guidance, through authentic understanding of key business needs.
What you will be doing:
- Ensuring our business and relationship management approach is embedded and utilised with all LMBU practices, through robust business planning and regular reviews.
- Designing business improvement solutions and programmes of coherent support and consultancy with the aim of delivering successful measurable outcomes: high quality, profitable and well run businesses.
- Shaping and deploying the One LMBU approach to business partnering, including the utilisation of diagnostics, data, business growth and improvement frameworks.
- Driving discipline, structure, consistency and accountability both within the Business Partnering team and across functional teams.
- Reviewing, measuring and assessing the efficiency of relationships and tangible return on investment of each Partner relationship.
We’re looking for a candidate with:
- Excellent listening, communication and relationship building skills, ability to adapt to each audience and build trust and confidence with Partners.
- Experience of delivering successful outcomes through influencing, strategic planning and commercial thinking.
- Solution and outcome focused approach and ability to utilise local insight and data to shape informed decisions.
- Ability to demonstrate discipline and precision when diagnosing problems and designing innovative solutions aligned to business/client needs.
- Experience of coaching and mentoring key stakeholders within LMBU, gaining respect and credibility at senior levels both internally and externally.
- Ability to lead and deliver projects, ensuring timescales are met and clear objectives are set and considered at all times.
