Job Description:

Are you looking to kick start your career? Do you have a passion for sustainability and clean energy? We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our fast-paced, growing, and dynamic business. For this role, you will have excellent communication skills, alongside a strong willingness to get involved with various projects.

Who you are:

  1. Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar
  2. Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calling; Proficient in LinkedIn, Apollo, and CRM as well as G-suite/Office
  3. Demonstrated success in prospecting
  4. Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  5. Track record of achieving sales quotas
  6. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  7. Strong professional communication skills – listening, written, verbal, and presentation skills with a friendly and energetic phone presence
  8. Aptitude for self-managing time whilst achieving objectives
  9. Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and objectives. Acts without being told what to do, brings new ideas to the table.
  10. Low-ego team player with drive, grit, and a strong desire to compete and win
  11. High level of integrity and a strong commitment to building a successful company
  12. Degree preferred, but not essential

What the job involves:

  1. Identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound activities
  2. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  3. Develop and test new sales strategies to attract potential customers
  4. Create robust relationships with potential customers to identify their needs, qualify their interests, and prioritize their viability
  5. Follow up on any inbound marketing leads generated and qualify them accordingly
  6. Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to a successful hand-off to sales teams
  7. Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts. Profile strategic accounts and identify key players and research their business requirements
  8. Nurture new leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a salesperson
  9. Maintain a self-starter attitude whilst creating and executing outreach strategies with the sales team
  10. Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect
  11. Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities
  12. Stay up to date with new technology developments, pricing strategies, and product information
  13. Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle and maintain accurate and timely information in the CRM system
