Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will achieve sales targets, grow the business by identifying new opportunities, and manage customer relationships. You will lead and coach Account Managers and Agent Teams, develop sales strategies, and manage budgets for Marketing and MedEd.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and education to surgeons and theatre staff.
- Partner with account managers and agents to drive growth.
- Participate in training and educational initiatives.
- Represent the region at sales meetings, conferences, and labs.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs for incentives.
- Develop regional business plans for customer retention and acquisition.
- Conduct field visits for coaching and sales support.
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals and procurement teams.
- Lead contract negotiations and tender submissions.
- Represent the region at national events and lead team meetings.
- Oversee performance management and recruitment.
- Maintain professional knowledge and complete reporting tasks.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven results in sales, exceeding targets.
- Effective communicator and networker.
- Customer-focused with strategic relationship skills.
- Experienced in coaching and team leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or relevant experience in sales or team management.
- Knowledge of Foot & Ankle devices preferred.
- 2–5 years of sales success and leadership experience.
- Organized and commercially aware.
Travel Requirements
This role involves fieldwork, working from home, and occasional overnight travel to hospitals, trade shows, workshops, and labs.
