Job Description
Due to its exceptional growth, Eurofins Central Laboratory is looking to hire a dynamic individual to join their sales team in Europe.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for:
- Ensuring new bookings targets are met for the assigned territories and services.
- Calling upon industry experience and abilities to initiate and develop productive relationships at all levels of complex, biopharmaceutical, and CRO organizations.
- Generating new opportunities and securing new bookings (contracts) for Eurofins Central Labs, including clinical biomarkers and anti-infective services.
- Acting as an advocate for prospects and active accounts to all key stakeholders within Eurofins.
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development, working closely with Scientific Affairs, Proposals/Contracts teams, and Operational Teams.
This is a remote position that could be based in any European country.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within clinical or central laboratories, clinical trials (CRO, trial supplies/logistics, e-Clinical), or relevant B2B project service industry.
- Proven success in securing new service contracts, demonstrating growth over your career.
- Excellent at establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships, with a broad network of contacts.
- Ability to set goals and develop plans affecting a group, with a focus on long-term results.
- Hunter mentality, motivation, and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus and a proactive attitude.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel for client interactions and conferences. Valid driving license.
