Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a contract position as Building Works Surveyor (Stock Condition) covering North London with a Local Authority for 6 months with potential rolling 3-months extension.
Main Objective:
- To provide a technical overview of the Council’s Housing stock.
- To project manage and deliver capital projects.
- To undertake and record quality assessments of all contracted works undertaken by partnering contractors through a post inspection regime.
- To provide technical reports and defect diagnosis for the Council\’s property portfolio.
- Provide technical reports and guidance for all regulatory compliance with the Landlord & Tenants Act, Fitness for Human Habitation Act, including disrepair, planning, Building Regulations, etc.
- To undertake Stock Condition surveys including HHSRS assessments, Fire Risk Assessment surveys/actions arising.
