We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
Our client is a lady in her 30s who lives in her own home with her husband. She enjoys socialising, spending time with family, meals out, shopping, puzzles, crafts, cooking, and is a big Harry Potter fan. Due to an acquired brain injury, she uses a wheelchair and has other support needs.
The successful candidate will need to be female, have previous experience with brain injury or complex needs, hold a full UK driving licence, and be comfortable driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. They should also be motivated and driven to help our client engage with her interests. Soft skills such as clear communication and the ability to build a supportive relationship are essential.
Hours: 24 hours per week over two days (09:30 – 21:30 with sleep-ins)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and engaging with personalised routines, including hoists.
- Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client\’s condition.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
