The Benefits, Compensation & Payroll Associate Director role is based in London, City, with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office, 2 WFH). This permanent position is 35 hours per week and involves managing a team of 10 benefits staff and 3 payroll staff across 22 countries, supporting a global headcount of 2,000. The environment is entrepreneurial, requiring flexibility and strategic thinking, especially in a firm experiencing growth through acquisitions.

Collaborate as part of the senior HR leadership team, reporting to the Global Head of Rewards, and working closely with the Group HR Director to meet strategic HR goals. Manage outsourced benefits brokerage relationships and supplier performance, with proven experience in this area. Lead the global onboarding of ADP, having prior experience with global ADP implementations. Oversee a diverse international team, focusing on performance and career development. Drive transformational change, moving from manual, Excel-based processes to automated, digital solutions. Enhance employee experience by supporting benefits offerings and educating stakeholders on benefits processes. Conduct market research, maintain external relationships, and stay informed on industry standards, policies, and legislation.

About you

  • Over 10 years of management experience in benefits and payroll within professional or financial services firms.
  • Accounting qualification or bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in change management and transformation projects.
  • Proven knowledge of global processes, with recent experience managing a global team.
  • Ability to work in London City offices, with a schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote (Monday & Tuesday in the office).
  • Eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Experience supporting a firm through multiple pay cycles.
