Job Description:

Amazing venue operator with a new, unique business in London comprising 4 operations under one roof, is looking to hire a Bar General Manager. The venue is expanding, and the environment offers a great work-life balance. It\’s a lively place to work with a dynamic team.

The Bar General Manager role:

This role involves overseeing the bar operations across four separate bars and managing all beverage-related activities for the entire venue. The ideal candidate will own the cocktail and drinks functions, coach and train the bar teams, and bring energy and creativity to the role, including on-trend recipes and a fun atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Stock control and wastage management
• Staff training and development
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Designing menus, purchasing, and making continuous improvements
• Leading the F&B team through recruitment, training, and performance appraisals
• Setting targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in high-end cocktail/drink-led bars
• Strong service background with food knowledge
• Experience managing a team and delegating tasks
• Creative flair for cocktails
• Proficiency with MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of current food and beverage trends
