Job Description: Investment Banking Markets Controls Testing VP

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom (Hybrid working: 3 days in the office per week)

Contract: Initial period of 14 months, inside IR35 (working through an Umbrella company)

Salary: £/day inside IR35

Responsibilities:

1. Execute controls design and operating-effectiveness testing, ensuring timely completion and escalating issues as needed.
2. Maintain high standards and best practices for testing activities and documentation.
3. Challenge stakeholders on the design and effectiveness of controls.
4. Work within the 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) Markets Controls Testing team.
5. Possess solid knowledge of Markets Sales and Trading activities, risks, and related controls.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven experience in controls testing within an investment banking environment.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• A strong background in risk and control functions within a large commercial bank.
