Our Azure Infrastructure Architects provide expertise, guidance, and strategic advice to clients, helping them develop robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. They play a critical role in designing and implementing our cloud infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure, Terraform, DevOps practices, and experience with application and WVD migrations.
Design and Architecture: Develop and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure for clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- DevOps Practices: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline deployments and ensure high-quality releases.
- Application Migration: Plan and execute the migration of on-premises applications to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- WVD Migration: Lead the migration of Windows Virtual Desktop environments to Azure, optimizing performance and user experience.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor infrastructure performance, optimize resource usage, and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all cloud solutions comply with security policies and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with client development, operations, and security teams to integrate infrastructure solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture, with a focus on Azure.
- Terraform: Proficiency in using Terraform for IaC, including writing and managing Terraform scripts.
- Azure DevOps: Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repositories, and artifacts.
- Application Migration: Proven experience in migrating applications to Azure.
- WVD Migration: Experience in migrating and managing Windows Virtual Desktop environments.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts and Azure networking services.
- Security: Knowledge of Azure security best practices and tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a consulting environment.
