The audit quality department is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality initiatives across the practice. Joining the audit quality team at this point would allow you to be at the forefront of change and would offer you a unique opportunity to help shape and develop practical initiatives to improve audit quality. The role involves collaboration across the business, including QAD, NATs, and the AQCs, providing insight into various aspects of the audit process. The audit industry is continually evolving, with an increased focus on audit quality being a consistent theme.

About the Job:

  • Line management of Audit Quality Champions (AQCs) to ensure the consistent delivery of the quality strategy within the service line.
  • Participation in Quality Response Team meetings and development of quality proposals for consideration by the Audit Management Board (AMB).
  • Serving as a regulatory liaison for file reviews, firmwide work, and other information requests and projects.
  • Supporting audit teams with meetings, file review responses, and organizing firmwide information requests.
  • Conducting root cause analysis reviews and developing subsequent quality action plans.
  • Supporting the development of coaching plans for RIs where relevant.
  • Managing independence reviewer allocations and reporting of authorizations to the AMB.
  • Monitoring quality actions and providing status updates to the Head of Audit Quality.
  • Additional opportunities to work on other quality initiatives as part of the broader audit quality enhancement plan are also available.
