Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead in developing the operational strengths of the charity audit team, supporting the firm’s expansion in this area.
  • Use strong audit expertise to provide technical guidance and serve as a departmental lead.
  • Oversee a portion of the Managing Director’s client portfolio.
  • Deliver hands-on technical support and guidance for audit and accounting teams.
  • Develop and mentor team members, contributing to the firm’s growth and client relationships.

Requirements Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: Qualified accountant with 5+ years of experience, ACA preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong audit and accounting background with a comprehensive understanding of technical standards and ISA315 audit requirements.
  • Preferred Software: Proficiency with IRIS, My Working Papers, and Xero.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to build client relationships and support business development.
  • Management Skills: Experience managing teams, mentoring junior talent, and ensuring quality in technical delivery.
  • Attention to Detail: High standards in accuracy and audit.
  • Sector Experience: Charity sector experience is beneficial.
