You will be accountable for the delivery of MEP services on projects, ensuring outcomes for time, budget, safety, and quality. You will lead and manage teams of technical and construction staff, build relationships with stakeholders, and drive project success.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Driving the MEP team with professional and respectful behaviors, providing clear guidance and ensuring compliance with Mace standards.
- Ensuring successful delivery of MEP services, including management of programme, health & safety, quality, and commissioning.
- Partnering with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and trade contractors.
- Supporting tendering, procurement strategies, and contract reviews.
- Contributing to project planning, design reviews, and delivery strategies.
- Managing risks, driving continuous improvement, and stakeholder negotiations.
- Managing and developing large teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Working towards net zero carbon goals, managing associated emissions and reductions.
You’ll need to have:
- Advanced knowledge of engineering systems, standards, and processes.
- Expertise in construction sequencing, planning, and commercial management.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality assurance.
- Experience delivering projects over £25m in MEP value.
- Relevant engineering qualifications and certifications (e.g., HNC, HND, BTEC, SMSTS, CSCS).
