The successful Fire Engineer will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting fire risk assessments for buildings and facilities.
  2. Designing fire suppression systems, such as sprinklers and fire alarms.
  3. Developing evacuation plans and procedures for emergencies.
  4. Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
  5. Reviewing building plans and layouts to identify fire hazards and recommend improvements.
  6. Investigating the causes of fires and recommending preventive measures.
  7. Conducting fire drills and training sessions for staff and occupants.
