Job Description:
The Associate Director of Qualitative Research manages and oversees a Client service Team. This leadership role involves coaching and mentoring staff, building client relationships, and ensuring project completion within deadlines and budgets. The role also includes process and system improvements for team efficiency, suitable for candidates with management experience in online healthcare market research.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and develop team members, monitor KPIs and workload.
- Guide and mentor operations team members.
- Manage project escalations to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Develop and implement process and system enhancements with senior management.
- Oversee project escalations and client satisfaction.
- Monitor productivity and data quality of projects.
- Oversee billing and profitability of projects.
- Support development of client service best practices and policies.
- Implement client service improvement plans, collaborating across teams.
- Oversee training for new and current team members.
- Approve leave, expenses, and quarterly reviews for direct reports.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years in Qualitative Market Research
- 3+ years project management
- 2+ years healthcare-focused Market Research
- 1+ year managing employees (preferred)
- Experience with complex research projects (programming, sampling, international, translations, patients) (preferred)
Skills:
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
