Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Heritage Consultant or Associate Director to join a well-established environmental consultancy. In this role, you will manage heritage-related projects, advise clients on planning processes, and contribute to new business opportunities. The position offers flexible full-time home working, with site visits and meetings in London and the Southeast. You will collaborate with specialists in archaeology, ecology, landscape planning, and more.
Responsibilities include preparing heritage impact assessments, providing expert advice during various development stages, acting as an expert witness when needed, and expanding the consultancy\’s client base through networking and relationship management.
Requirements include a minimum of five years\’ relevant experience, strong knowledge of planning and heritage legislation, and membership with IHBC. Experience with EIA assessments is required; expert witness experience is preferred but not mandatory.
