Come join our team in London!

About Executive Insight

Executive Insight is a specialised healthcare consultancy that partners with biopharmaceutical companies to successfully prepare, launch, and commercialise their products. Joining our team means collaborating closely with colleagues across all 3 of our international offices in London, Zurich, and New York.

Honesty , freedom , and caring are the key values of our international team of consultants. Collaboration drives our success: while individual talent and accomplishments are celebrated, we believe that excellence in delivery is achieved through teamwork, shared ideas, and a spirit of intellectual curiosity.

About the Role: Associate Consultant

As an Associate Consultant with Executive Insight, you will join an international growing team with strong scientific and business expertise and a passion for helping client teams perform better.

This role is most suited to those who have both a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and some industry experience, or those who are about to complete a master’s degree. The common theme is always a passion for a career in healthcare strategy consulting.

What you’ll do

As an Associate Consultant, you will:

  1. Conduct research and data collection to understand healthcare systems, stakeholder needs, organisational structure, capabilities, and challenges, such as pricing, reimbursement strategies, KOL strategies, or product portfolio analysis.
  2. Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis to uncover insights on organisational strengths and challenges, clinical, humanistic, and economic product value, or disease-specific stakeholder perspectives.
  3. Support the development of engagement strategies for physicians, patients, payers, and policymakers to ensure successful product commercialisation.
  4. Support the development of solutions to advance organisations following transformation goals and plans (such as changes to systems & tools used, organisational setup & processes).
  5. Engage with stakeholders or assist in moderating workshops with clients, management teams, and external stakeholders to develop strategic recommendations and capability enhancements.
  6. Develop compelling deliverables for clients, from reports capturing recommendations to management presentations for client decision-making or outlining changes to the organisation.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will bring:

  1. A genuine passion for healthcare consulting and a strong academic record (degrees in science or business are welcome).
  2. Initiative, proactivity, and a strong sense of accountability for the work being delivered.
  3. A structured, results-driven, and adaptable working style.
  4. The ability to learn quickly, understand problems, and apply strong logical and conceptual thinking for solving these issues. Ability to communicate to clients in an engaging and concise way.
  5. Ability to read studies, understand specific disease areas, and convey medical information to different audiences effectively.
  6. An understanding of how pharmaceutical companies are structured is beneficial (this might stem from different avenues of experience, for example, working within the pharmaceutical industry).
  7. Exposure to organisational change-focused projects either within pharma or beyond is an advantage. This might be within Life Sciences consulting, management consultancies, or even pro bono/consulting clubs.
  8. Demonstrable experience capturing complex subject matters, simplifying them, and then communicating them effectively to different audiences would be advantageous.
  9. Fluency in English (proficiency in another language is a plus).
  10. The ability to work legally in the United Kingdom without restriction (we are currently unable to take up sponsorship of visas).
