About the role: We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager for our Midlands region to oversee our development in Kings Heath, Birmingham. You will support the Site Manager throughout the construction cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met and standards are maintained according to Company and NHBC guidelines. Based on site and reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist in managing health and safety, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control. You will play a vital role in the continued success of Churchill Retirement Living’s developments. Hours of work are from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. The role may require occasional call-outs in the absence of the Site Manager, and upon project completion, you may be assigned to another site within the region.

About you: Ideally, you have previous site experience building residential apartments and new homes, are a qualified First Aider, and may have a trade background. You hold a CSCS Card and are qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation program. You are assertive, calm under pressure, and capable of liaising effectively with external suppliers, specialists, and internal teams to meet construction deadlines without compromising quality. Influencing skills are essential. You also hold a valid UK driver’s license to assist at other sites if needed.
