We are recruiting an Assistant Meeting and Events Operations Manager to join us at The Londoner Hotel.

Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join the Meeting and Events Operations team as an Assistant Manager. This is a 9-month fixed-term role for paternity cover. You will be responsible for your events, coordinating the team to ensure all aspects are fulfilled. You will verify that event spaces are set according to function sheets. Pre-event and shift briefings will be conducted to discuss event details, special requests, and responsibilities. You will ensure seamless service flow during events and meet guest needs. Handling complaints and feedback confidently, rectifying issues where possible. Ensure cash and card procedures are followed at the bar, with accurate cashing up. You will support team development and performance management alongside the Meeting and Events Operations Manager.

About You:
  • Management experience in meetings and events operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • A passion for food and beverage and providing impeccable service.
