Urban Pubs, Bars and Restaurants are currently recruiting for a talented and ambitious Assistant Manager with personality & charisma for our expanding group. East Dulwich Tavern or EDT as it’s known to the locals, is a charming pub at the heart of the East Dulwich community. We love our regulars who have been coming in to prop up the bar since ’99, and the Dulwich Hamlet fans who fill the pub with a sea of pink and blue on home games. A community-led pub that prides itself on individuality and personality, a place where you become part of the family, socialise, and can have a great drink or a hearty pub classic from the kitchen.
The Role
- As Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business.
- Be business savvy and demonstrate great commercial understanding.
- Your team will look up to you; it’s essential to train, nurture, and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
- This role would also suit an aspiring Supervisor looking for their first Assistant Manager position as you will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop, and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
