This key leadership role will be instrumental in driving financial performance, providing crucial financial insights, and offering commercial finance leadership across the organisation.
This is a permanent opportunity to work with an established finance team, within an organisation that provides an exceptional service throughout the local region.
The Assistant Director of Finance will join the senior leadership team, and will take responsibility for the businesses Financial Planning & Performance reporting.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years post qualification experience
- Successfully leading, developing, and supporting people
- Proven experience of budget preparation and consolidation, monitoring, and financial forecasting
- Production, analysis, and presentation of key financial information
What you’ll do
- Manage finance team, fostering a high performance culture, supporting the Financial Planning & Performance team
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Provide accurate cashflow forecasts
- Produce timely and accurate financial management information
- Lead financial reporting
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning processes
