RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct due diligence and business analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, market research, and competition analysis to develop investment theses.
- Participate in structuring, negotiating, and documenting investments.
- Present and defend investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees, including Asset Management and Firm-wide Investment Committees.
- Monitor existing portfolio investments actively.
- Generate investment ideas through early engagement with financial sponsors, management teams, and founders.
- Build relationships with sponsors, management teams, and internal stakeholders.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking or Principal Investing.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Industrial Engineering, or related fields from a distinguished institution.
- Experience in private equity or private credit is a plus.
- Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for investing, especially in complex credit and equity investments.
- Creative and flexible mindset with the ability to analyze various industries and businesses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High motivation and solid work ethic.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
