12 Months Fixed Term Contract with a strong possibility of an extension/permanent contract

My client is seeking either a motivated Chemistry Graduate or an analyst with some lab experience to join their dynamic team in Cambridgeshire.

The Role:

1. Perform a wide range of analyses such as pH titrations, pH analysis, and wet chemistry methods.
2. Conduct sample preparation, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality control procedures.
3. Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
4. Analyse and interpret data, perform data validation, and prepare reports with attention to detail and data integrity.
5. Collaborate with the laboratory team to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain efficient laboratory operations.
6. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment and proper handling of hazardous chemicals.

The Person:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related discipline.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
3. Proficient in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
